Whispering

• individual and small groups, interpreter sits next to the person needing to understand the foreign language and whispers what’s being said in their ear
• experienced interpreters, reliable and helpful
• no special equipment is required and the interpreting is almost real-time
• aim is to provide personal language support to an individual within a group without affecting the whole group
• example of use: language support for foreign executive attending company board meeting, delegate attending group training course overseas, overseas factory or office visit
• whispering interpreters work best on a one-to-one basis! 

Consecutive

• most preferred
• consecutive interpreting is when a speaker pauses to allow an interpreter to repeat what has been said in the target language before continuing
• all major world languages
• highly experienced interpreters for business matters, technical interpreting or legal affairs
• no special equipment is required
• interpreting onsite (anywhere in the Czech Republic or abroad)
• long term onsite interpreting job at special rates

Simultaneous

• simultaneous interpretation is a type of real-time interpreting that happens without the involvement of the original speaker
• simultaneous interpreters sit in a sound-proof booth and interpret in real-time; listeners hear the simultaneous translation via headphones

• this task is so demanding that we recommend at least two interpreters for continuous service of more than two hours
• provision of complete equipment inclusive of cabins for interpreters
• for simultaneous interpreting, we request the following for proper planning and implementation of the project:
  • complete information on the event for arranging the equipment
  • drafts of speeches and information on any specialist vocabulary for our simultaneous interpreters
  • schedule some time with the interpreter(s) ahead of the day to brief them on any company policies they should be aware of
  • provide a breakdown of how the day will be structured so that the interpreters can begin to plan their work; it is very likely that one of them has specialist knowledge that would be best used during a particular part of a presentation
